A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Love Dead Belt, but don't always have a table big enough to play it?
Created as part of the Born on the Belt game jam, the Unofficial Dead Belt Companion app lets you play Dead Belt with just your computer, and the Dead Belt pdf/book.
This requires the Dead Belt pdf to play.
Create your belter, select your ship, and go out there to scavenge those birds. All from the comfort of your console.
Please note this is still in development. Not all functionality is ready yet. Check back for updates.
Demo only supports Tier 1 birds.
You will need a character sheet, or notepad for tracking load.

Some thoughts after playing:
1. The font looks cool, and is ok for stuff like headers, titles, and buttons, but if it's used for body text it's kind of tiring to look at (because it's in all caps).
2. I think it'd be better if there was a stronger visual indicator of a card's contents and whether it's been flipped or not. Relying on textual information makes the game flow slower;
3. I think the colors could be picked better. It was a bit of a strain on my eyes.
All in all, I'm pretty excited for this, looks really cool and the little token for the PC is cute.
Saying the file needs to be updated and triggering anti virus notifications. Is there an updated file for this by chance, seems cool.
There is not at this time.
Life got kinda hectic after posting this. I will put it on my todo list to at least see what is causing that to happen.
